This Privacy Policy describes how SquaredR ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Ravi Ranjan, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit squaredr.tech (the "Site"), purchase our products, or use our services. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact information: Name and email address when you fill out our contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or communicate with us.
  • Service inquiry data: Project details, requirements, and any information you provide when requesting a quote or consultation.
  • Payment information: When you purchase a product, payment is processed entirely by third-party providers (such as Stripe or Gumroad). We do not collect, store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or full payment credentials on our servers.
  • Communication data: Messages, feedback, or inquiries you send us via email, contact forms, or other channels.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on the Site, referring URLs, click patterns, browser type, device type, screen resolution, and operating system.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16 years of age.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.

  • Payment processors: Stripe, Gumroad, or similar services, solely to process transactions securely. These processors have their own privacy policies.
  • Email service providers: To send newsletters and transactional emails (e.g., Resend, Brevo). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Analytics providers: Such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar tools to understand Site usage. Data is anonymized where possible.
  • Form processors: Such as Formspree, to handle contact form submissions securely.
  • Hosting providers: Such as Vercel, for serving the Site and processing requests.
  • Legal authorities: Only when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property.

All third-party service providers are required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purposes we have engaged them for.

5. Data Retention

  • Contact and newsletter data: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 12 months to provide support and follow up, then deleted.
  • Transaction records: Retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically 7 years as required by Indian tax law).
  • Analytics data: Retained in anonymized/aggregated form. Personally identifiable analytics data (IP addresses) is retained for no more than 26 months.
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

When data is no longer needed for any legitimate purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:

We cannot guarantee absolute security and shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, data breach, or security incident beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own account credentials and access.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Currently, we do not respond to DNT signals, but we do not engage in cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users via email.
